Edmund
Pettus Bridge
Selma, Alabama
On V.H.P.
Enterprises, Inc. project list of historic and famous bridges is the
Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama. Spanning across the Alabama
River along U.S. Highway 80 in downtown Selma, V.H.P. repainted the
bridge and provided the much-needed facelift to the icon of the 1965’s
Bloody Sunday voting rights march. http://selmaala.blogspot.com.
The Edmund Pettus Bridge was blast cleaned to SSPC SP10 (near white
blast cleaning) with a three-coat system of zinc, epoxy and urethane.
